Description
This was a watercolor I did a few years ago for an art contest. The assignment was to paint an endangered bird. I see some things I could definitely improve (a.c.a feet). I can't remember what the bird is called, but I remember it is endangered because its food supply is bees and wasps, and since the population of bees is going down, so too are the birds.Related content

This is wonderful! Nice use of the translucency of the watercolours and the looseness of the background. I also like the detailing of the feathers and texturing of the bark on the tree.

Thank you. I'm glad you like it. It is certainly one of the better watercolor pieces I've done. Although, that isn't saying too much. I haven't worked with watercolor very much...lol.
