Taken in the winter. We had bought flowers for some occasion and I thought they were pretty, so I decided to take a few pictures with the snow outside as a background. The light outside and the reflection from the snow made the flowers look so beautiful. It took me forever to get them to look perfectly lined up the way they are though. I hope you think my patience was worth it.Related content

i always find taking photos of flowers indoors very difficult. you managed pretty well, however. this is just my own personal opinion, but i would've preferred the focal flower to have been more in focus. otherwise, i find the overall composition works and the atmosphere has a soothing effect on me. what i especially like about this photo is the left portion. the flowers that are turned in a profile (?) manner really seem to interact with the background, the snow and trees...i really like it.

I'm glad that you think I did okay for being inside. ^^ This was very informative and it helped me out. I understand what you mean about the focus. Sometimes this camera doesn't want to focus in the ways that I want it to, so I probably didn't move the camera in a position where it would know to focus in on that flower. I'll keep it in mind from now on. I'm glad you like how the flowers turn and interact with the snow. I specifically made sure not to show any of the inside of the house because I thought it would ruin the flow of the photo. I wanted the lighting and look of it to feel pure and delicate.
