Hypergamy works in the superhero world as well, this is why Spidey often gets rejected by super heroines like Spider-Woman and such. The fact that he can only recall get the likes of MJ or Gwen (now dead) just proves my point, but then again, even the normal women reject Spider-Man, so... kinda sad.

My assessment is that if she got to know Peter Parker(which she does), they would make a great team. He's close to her best friend Carol Danvers. So if he's ok with her, then Jessica shouldn't find Peter to be bad at all. And his relationship with some of the women in his life has been more successful than Jessica's for example. One reason why Julia Carpenter(The Second Spider-Woman) rejected Spider-Man was because of his wisecrack jokes. Otherwise, had she had gotten to know the man behind the mask, they would have hit it off very well. Most heroines would not give Spider-Man the time of day because of the way that the writers portray him in the Avengers.
But I think that Jessica's relationship with Peter Parker has improved a lot since she got to him as well as Carol Danvers. There has always been a lot of tension between Peter x Jessica(on her part). And there are subtle hints that Jessica is attracted to Peter Parker in the same manner as Black Cat.
