If you guys read my journal, good.
If you didn't, it's been a while since I submitted. Sorry about that, but I was busy with college work and other stuff. So I decided to recreate the original Mirage Comic by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, but with the 2012 version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo posing and with their signature weapons. I already known that the theme song on Nickelodeon is not only the beat of the original 1987 cartoon, but also they made that image from the Mirage comic. How awesome is that? 
I tried to make the shading on the buildings and on the four turtles accurate as possible and also add the title but with 2012 wording. I know the wording is slanted, but at least I tried.

I just took the original TMNT Mirage comic book cover and I drew the turtles 2012 version. Β The image can be seen also near the end of the theme song.

Yes, I did draw with a pencil and I did the shading with blending stumps.

I find it cool how they provide throwbacks from the original comics AND the 1987 series.
