Tim and Mason were about as good friends as guy friends could be. They hung out almost constantly and the two had been friends since primary school and were soul mates in the most platonic way. Nothing could ruin these two's friendship.

So it was weird when Mason came to school as a girl. This wasn't a situation of him coming out as trans or wearing a skirt. No Mason showed up to school one day as a busty short haired tomboy wearing her normal boys uniform. And most people noticed. Girls gawked at her trotting around in the ill fitting uniform. Guys gawked at her surprisingly cute face yet manly way of speaking. Everyone noticed the new Mason, except Mason. She seemed to have no idea that she was any different. And Tim was perplexed by this, especially since most people didn't seem to mind it. Not him, Tim was dedicated to finding out why his bro had boobs that lunch.

"Did anything happen last night?" Tim asked Mason as she scoffed down chips. "Wadda you mean?" She replied, mouth full of chips. "As in did you get into trouble or something?" Tim asked, causing Mason to raise her eyebrow and reply "What? You think I got into a fight? Why?" Tim realised if he told her she was now a girl she wouldn't believe him so instead he said "Just cause you got a cut on your forehead that wasn't there yesterday." Mason relaxed a bit, replying "I took a while to get home last night. I accidentally bumped into this blond lady in a red dress, think I pissed her off. And I tripped over some loose trash so that's probably where the cut is from. It's not big is it?" She asked Tim. He gulped and replied "It is, that's why everyone has been staring." "Ah, that makes sense." Mason said as she returned to devouring her chips. Meanwhile Tim figured that blond lady was probably a witch as there were a couple in town and she'd cursed Mason. After school he'd have to track her down. But next was sport.

The boys all shuffled into the boys locker room, filling the tight space with the smell of sweat. But that smell wasn't what everyone was focused on, it was Mason. She walked on in like usual with an increasingly anxious Tim trailing behind. After a moment of silence some of the boys began to take off they're tops. Naturally Mason began to lift up hers, but before she could time grabbed it and pulled it back down, much to the annoyance of the other guys. "Hey what are you doing?" Mason asked as Tim shuffled her off into the corner of the bathroom. "Maybe get changed in one of the private rooms." "Why? The guys are only staring cause of the cut on my head." Mason replied indignantly. "See, I don't think that's it." Tim hastily replied. Mason raised her eyebrows and said "Oh really? Then why?" "Because they're uhh… Because they might be gay." Tim blurted out. "Ohhh… That makes sense. Explains why they've been constantly offering to hold doors open for me and have been getting really close in lines. Yeah I probably shouldn't show them my bust chest, might distract them from the game." Tim nodded profusely as Mason made her way into the private changing room. Tim let out a deep sigh. Good thing this was the last class of today.

After school Tim took a detour from his normal route home to where he'd remembered seeing a blond haired woman in a red dress, most likely the one who cursed Mason. Hopefully this would be quick and he could get his bro back, as he didn't know how many days of covering for her he could do. He wandered down the streets till he eventually saw the blond woman in the red dress. He marched on up to her and said "What did you do to my friend!" This gave her a fright as she replied "Your friend?" "My friend Mason who you ran into last night. You must of put a curse on them and that's why all this is happening." The blond woman seemed confused before she replied "You mean that nice young woman from last night? I ran into her on the way home, she helped me pick up the stuff she dropped. Very gentlemanly for a teenage girl." Tim was shocked, so much for his theory. "Sorry miss, I got you confused with someone else. Have a nice day." Tim said before bolting off. Now he felt like an idiot, and the only lead he had was that somehow Mason had become a girl in a space of less than a block from school.

Meanwhile Mason was at home wondering about her odd day. All those guys staring at her, the weird weight she'd felt on her chest, and the fact that she'd started thinking of herself as a she. All these weird feelings, but she knew Tim would help. Tim was reliable, time was sturdy Tim was ho- helpful… definitely helpful. Maybe he'd know why she felt so odd. So she took off her top and slipped into some stuff she found comfortable. She then held up her phone and took a photo of herself in the mirror, she didn't know why it was making her blush so much. She then sent it along to Tim.

Said Tim who was walking home got a buzz on his phone. He opened it up to find a picture of Mason in a bra and bike shorts asking "Hey Tim I was wondering, do I look odd. I've felt weird all day." Time sighed and then texted out a reply. "You do look a bit more feminine." His phone then got a quick reply "This might sound crazy Tim, but I think I'm turning into a girl!" Tim couldn't help but let out exasperated sigh.
