Aside from anatomy problems I just adore how the shading came out on this piece! Its some of my older art from this year. A bit of info on her. She came into existence for an RP me and a friend are doing. It crossed with Sonic the hedgehog and Yugioh GX. Ultra wormholes are so convenient no?

Name: Launa Aether

Age: 10

Pokemon: Poimo(fakemon), Zubat, Alolan Grimer, Skrelp and Stunky

Parents: Gladion and Moon

Personality: Launa is a slightly hot tempered trainer that takes great pride in her poison types. Her pride sometimes gets in the way of her dissension making when it comes to pokemon battles, Overestimating her pokemon's battle capacity. She has a cold streak too those she deems as strangers and people she comes off as rude to those who doesn't quite know her well. She has a soft side for her family and friends(pokemon included). Launa, like any other trainer enjoys a good battle as long as the other team give it their all. She is a gracious looser but a horrible winner as her pride in her team make it come out as mocking the loosing team.

Likes: Launa loves poison types as she only trains them, Pokemon battles that are fair also come in play, She enjoys pampering her poison babies whenever she gets a chance. She adores her cousin Kaiko and her friends from Orre, Valor and Charli.

Dislikes: The idea of shadow pokemon returning one-day, She despises people who abuses their power, other people and pokemon. She has it out for her rival Gria.

Backstory: Launa was the first born of Aehter president Gladion and Alola's first champion Moon. Aside from having big shot parents she was treated like any other trainer as her mother and father felt it was the right thing to do. She and her cousin Kaiko would play with the pokemon at the Aether houses when they visited. Launa had a strange fascination with poison types from a young age due to her interacting with her father's Crobat and Mohter's Sallazle the most. Sparking the desire to train that typing. By the time she turned 7 a new poison type was discovered in the Orre region. So her family took a trip there to study the new pokemon called Vemoo a poison/dragon type and its pre-evolution Poimo a poison/flying type. There she met Charli Princeton, Valor and their parents. This is where Launa found her very first pokemon in a Poimo who took interest in the young girl. Of course she had to gain the trust of the young pokemon's parents to even get close to the new pokemon unharmed.

Launa had to take care of the bigger pokemon to gain their trust, She fed and washed the Veemo at the Orre Branch of the Aether foundation. Though this she learned a lot about the pokemon she wanted as her very first pokemon and the residence of the Oasis. She and the other kids had a rocky start as Charli was a bit rough around the edges and outright mean at times where Valor was too shy to even talk to her or Kaiko at the start. Though through a lot of persistence from Launa she eventually got Valor to open up to her after she helped him out with his Eevee nicknamed Saiko. The Eevee had gotten hurt from encountering a rather temperamental Zangoose. Launa got though to Charli after the two got caught up in a small Wild Pokemon frenzy. With the help of Charli's Murkrow and the Poimo LAuna was taking care of at the time they got out of the raging Sandslashes way.

Since then the two where close as can be and Launa finally earned the respect from the Veemo obtaining her first pokemon at the age of 9. One year later rumors of Shadow pokemon began to surface once more and a strange new pokemon appeared in Orre. Said to be a pure Psychic type.
