Description Full View Please.

Lough Derravaragh, Co. Westmeath, Ireland.

Where the Children of Lir are said to have been turned into swans by the jealous Aoife. They then spent 300 years on Lough Derravaragh, 300 years on Straits of Moyle and 300 years on the Isle of Inish Glora.

Beautiful place it is.

The Children Of Lir is a very old Irish Legend, we first learn about it over here in Ireland in school. I have been told the story many times.

Its a beautiful story and worth the read. I highly encourage you too. I haven't myself read those that are posted on those sites but I'm sure its close to the original.
