I have read so far only 1 & 2 of the series and I know these are still more men on Merry's side. But I just love this series and now had to draw a quick sketch.from left to right.
Frost - Rhys - Doyle - Galen - Sholto - Sage - Kitto - Nicca
I do not know yet whether Sage is one of their men, but I find the cute, just like Kitto.
My favorites are indeed Frost, Sholto, GALEN! Doyle ~ Man with so many guys, because you can always choose bad. I really love them all!
Although this is only ne sketch, because I with the other paintings I have painted of them are still not finished. GALEN MORE! XD Or Doyle ... Kitto? Sage ... uff there are too many.

I want so very much to paint more of the guys that Merry likes this or not like. I know, unfortunately, only the first two volumes. The others are in English and I am a poor reader in terms of the language. I also have yet to paint the boys right. Must still make the Outlinse. But I am glad that you like Kitto, I love him so ... oh, actually I love them all ~

Ich will ja so gern noch mehr der Jungs malen, die Merry so mag oder nicht mag. Ich kenne leider nur die ersten beiden BΓ€nde. Die Anderen sind auf Englisch und ich bin eine schlechte Leserin was diese Sprache angeht. Auch hab ich noch vor, die Jungs in Richtig zu malen. Muss aber noch die Outlinse machen. Aber freut mich, wenn du Kitto magst, ich liebe IHN ja ... ach eigentlich liebe ich sie Alle ~

They are all important. If you wanted to draw the fathers, they're Galen, Frost, Doyle, Mistral, Sholto and Rhys. Merry loves all of them as of book 8 Divine Misdemeanors except Mistral. He's kind of a tool. Kitto is important because he's a great friend and confidant. Sage eventually drops off and is replaced by better demi-fey like Royal. Barinthus is important because he was her honorary uncle for so long and Merry's trusted ally besides Galen while she was growing up.
You should read the rest of the books! It gets better!

mistral and barinthus? but I have not had since I only have the german books.

I've read books 3, 4, and 5. Barinthus isn't a major character for Merry's heart, and Galen, Rhys, Doyle, and Frost are all fathers for Merry's children. Somehow there are 4 men for two children. Still not sure how that worked out, and I've read all of them multiple times. Divine Misdemeanors is almost worth skipping, since the mystery is solved in the first few chapters and the rest is sex.

Divine Misdemeanors is book 8. There are 6 fathers for 2 children, 3 fathers each just like Ceridwen, in their history. The children were conceived in the night of wild magic. This is explained in A Lick of Frost and Swallowing Darkness several times. I suspect it's a needed setup to allow them to rule as Kings or Queens later on, with Merry as High Queen of all the courts.
Divine Misdemeanors isn't my favorite, but I like that it's branching out to the humans and how the fey are integrating into modern society instead of holing up in their hills. I think of it more as a transition book. If the books are read in succession, the Goddess' intentions look very clear.

The sex can be distracting. I'm not a big fan of the important plot discussions taking place during or interrupting the action. Sometimes I miss important storylines because I got distracted by the sex, or vice versa.
