Update: I'm new to this prints thing but I uploaded a version that prints well in both
heavyweight-matte and premium semigloss on my epson r800. Hopefully the uploaded
version works well with dA's printing as well. Print version slightly dodged to bring forth
man behind window.

I never really give poor people money.
I go and buy them food and something to drink... i don't know maybe I spent more, but I feel better.

That's always better. We wouldn't want them using that money for drugs or alcohol. It's always better to give them food. The worst was when I saw this homeless dude who looked down and out, I gave my my Pepsi, he took it & mixed quarter rum into it . I was shocked.

This is absolutely amazing. It really opened my eyes. You deserve more than just a DD and a bunch of nice comments. That man must have been touched by the fact that you cared enough to do this and give him a little money to boot. This brought tears to my eyes. TERRIFIC JOB.

People are right. This speaks for itself in many ways. I love how there are people in the background eating. It shows the good people being able to eat at this (disgusting) establishment and the old man who is probably poor and can't afford to eat at all craving for food who can't eat that night or maybe for that week because he has no place to go.

This is common in some countries in Asia. We won't give the homeless money as they might be able to work but they don't try, they suppose to work as there's many poor people that try to get money. Also, there are gangs that get disable people to sit around and beg for money then when the day end the gang come up and take the money. I know that from the police and media.

That is really terribly sad! I love the photograph's message because so many times these sorts of tragedies are overlooked in the face of our own self-centered materialism. I feel that it is one of human kind's greatest sadnesses that it allows hunger and starvation of those who cannot help themselves to survive. Great photo, amazing message!
