Gem knight Au. Their father used to be more present in their lives, once upon a time. Feels like it never happened at all. To Papyrus, his brother is the most important person in the world, but he's not at all blind to his "shortcomings". Or that they're being ignored. But he'd rather pretend it's not true, because admitting out loud that their father doesn't care about sans would be as giving credibility to the idea that sans is not important. And yet, Papyrus can't stop looking for their father's approval.
