Under the influence of a higher being, Volleyball set out to take down the newly established Era 3 and the Crystal Gems and Team Aurora. With her hair down and her tulle skirt gone, she gathered a small group of gems who had been unhappy with the new era and the team in one way or another, puppeting them to her will as she was being puppeted herself.
