Afua ("born on a Friday") is a prince and a member of Kiara's Pride, being the son of Malka and Tama, the younger brother of Auni, Tiifu's mate, and the father of Koda. He is flirtatious and rebellious, but also carefree, cheeky, and talkative. When Kopa takes up the mantle of leading the Lion Guard, he ends up picking Afua as his strongest.

Babu ("grandfather") is the son of Mega and Sabini and brother to Boga, as well as the mate of Nia and the father of Johari. He's known for being cheerful and teasing, at times facetious and insensitive, but mainly social and confident in himself. He later becomes the keenest of sight on Kopa's Lion Guard.

Boga ("pumpkin") is the sister of Babu and the daughter of Mega and Sabini. She later becomes Kion's second mate and has a daughter with him, Mwezi; she also becomes the stepmother of Hera, Kion's daughter with Rani that he chose to take back to the Pride Lands with him. She later becomes the smartest member on Kopa's Lion Guard, serving directly alongside her brother.
