i like the in-depth description, and the design itself is gorgeous! i really like mech drawings with that kind of fine-point illustration.

Oh my god, you are referring to the typo I had. I noticed that after i posted the comment, but didn't know how to change it. wow, very nice. Just one thought - legs should be closer to each other, because pilot wouldn't fit in. Or at least they should't be straight. Imagine a man on a horse. Still, it's much closer to reality as an exosuit than lots of others.

you hit the nail on the head in that the biggest functional problem is the feet in that because of the need for shock absorption the feet cant be well armored. the camera on that gun is incredibly important becaus it minimises the unfortunate area blindnes problems that are so neccesary for armored cameras. also , if that red dot on the chest is a camera than the blind spot is reduced even more! nice! it may realy BE possible to perfect a mechs form!

You know what's funny? I'm trying to design my own AP suit, and reading your description, it sounds almost exactly the same, right down to hands in the forearms and feet in the shins. Maybe I saw this a while ago and forgot about it, and I'm just subconsciously stealing your ideas...
One difference, I'm trying to give mine both front and rear access, to prevent the pilot from becoming trapped if the suit loses power or is incapacitated and falls on top of the only exit.

I would like to point out that the technology exists to produce something like this except for one area of technical deficiency: A suitable power supply. We already have functioning exo-suites and powered armors. They all function extremely well, as long as they are tethered to a static power supply.
This is probably the most detailed, best thought out design I have come across for a powered combat armor. These would do WONDERS for MOUT/asymmetrical warfare theaters of operation.

Dude, your work is amazing! I just canβt get over how every single uploaded piece of yours is so mind-blowingly fantastic. This is probably my favorite one. It really reminds of the Maschinen Krieger model line, just fucking hardcore battle armor ready to kick some ass.
