Bummies for you. Your designs are almost perfectly in keeping with what I'm envisioning light power armor to be for the personnel in WHISPER... polymer muscle frames with some solid plates of tungsten or osmium and ceramics to stop DEWs (i.e. lasers) and slugthrowers.
