Description
I was going through some of my older designs and found a few that I haven't posted to DA. This one here, is a anthro brown bat character I had designed for a tv series pitch, but it got cut short due to the studio not being fast enough to snatch up the copyrights.Now it's just another design sitting in my folder. A shame really, because I did a LOT of bat anatomy study to come up with this design.

It's a shame how these things work out, isn't it? I have a whole folder of stuff sitting gathering dust from pitches and unused pre-prod work etc... - it's nice to get to see these though, not a total waste! (and next time someone asks you for an anthro bat character you'll have one ready-made!)

You never know.. The copyrights for original project this was designed for may have been snapped up by someone else, but that doesn't mean I can't retrofit the concept for an original IP instead. It'll just take a lot of elbow greese. ^_~

Ooh, this is awesome! I absolutely love bats to death! (most of my characters are bats XD)
