Hello Adam, I'll take a crack at critiquing your gorgeous artwork!
First off, I would like to point out that the color pallet of your drawing meshes together fantastically! There aren't too many contrasting colors and the color of her clothes and the background complement each other nicely.
All of the shading on her clothes and her skin are pretty accurate in respect to the light source you established, so kudos for that! I see some areas that might need shading (Right arm, boots, inside of collar, etc.) The shadow on the ground is nicely executed as well. Nice choice blurring it the further away it was from her.
The anatomy of the character is spot on. Everything is where it should be, no weirdly disproportionate limbs or lopsided eyes or anything; nice!
I noticed that she's leaning forward and to the right a bit like she's Michael Jackson in Smooth Criminal, I personally think it would be cool if she positioned her legs in another stance since she's aiming anyways. That would help balance her out.
Finally as far as originality goes, I really like certain aspects of the character's clothes and overall design. I like the design of her boots, her shirt, and the backpack holstering her rifle. To be completely honest though, the character does seem a little simplistic. Nothing much about her appearance really stands out or hooks me as a viewer. Although, since I'm assuming this is for your animation class though, simplicity is a great idea. Making your character's design overly complex while animating leads to horrible inconsistencies. *COUGHATTACKONTITAN'SEMBLEMSONTHEIRJACKETSCOUGH!*
Fantastic job as always!
