Rand al'Thor is just a shepherd....
it's all rather tragic reallybased on a memory shared in conversation with Egwene, he apparently saves a lamb from a wolf when he was younger.... AWWWWW! lol

Awwwwwwww......This is so precious. And the look on his face - he just looks so happy and proud. This is a really good picture, in a happy/cute/sad way. Makes you think on Rand's character.

I haven't finished the series yet (i'm on knife of dreams) but just seeing this makes me sad because i know who he used to be, and who he becomes. Definitely tragic. It's amazing how Jordan can make my heart ache the way it does for these characters.

This pic kind of restores the character in my mind. Im listing to the books on tape currently ( although i've read the books ) and him as a shephard is tons more appealing then him as a ...well , angst character lol.

Have you every read george r.r martins series a song of fire and ice ? If you like robert jordan its pretty much a guarantee you'll love those books as well .

i find it quite frankly amusing that his story was so long that he died before he could finish it...and now we'll never know the end until the copywrite wears off cause he's said not too.

This is a great rendition of younger Rand...I forgot about the memory that was brought up, as things like that seem to get buried under the task that rests on his shoulders. He was such a goofy kid, with large hands and feet as Egwene mentions in the first book.
