Description
Skidd came to us a tiny, scrawny kitten with WAY too much energy, and not nearly enough size. Now, he's nearly doubled in size, if not TRIPLED, and he still has almost as much energy. One thing that hasn't changed, though is his tendency to latch onto someone he likes and follow them everywhere. He watches movies with my fiance, cuddles with our older cat Goldie, and anytime I'm at the computer, he's up on the desk or table, between me and the laptop, snuggled in and out like a light. We found out about a year after we adopted him that he has an anxiety/panic disorder; he has a tendency to spazz whenever something startles him, and sometimes hurts himself in trying to escape if he's startled badly enough. Fortunately, we're able to take measures to decrease the frequency and severity of his panics, such as installing nightlights in the hallways and talking to him when we approach him. Anxiety or no anxiety, our little Skidjit is a sweet little cuddle-bug, and we wouldn't trade him for the world.
