This might be my favorite thing you've ever done (although, that's a hard decision to make). Despite the muted colours, I really don't get a feeling of distress from it. The hand and its positioning really intrigues me...allow me, if you will to indulge in a little free-association/thought-vomit:

hands are essentially tools of the body...
the body is, for all intents and purposes, a flesh-prison...
forward motion appears to be somewhat blocked by the body (and its tool), forcing the mind to find alternate routes through which to explore and expand...?

Apparently today is my day to engage in pretentious interpretive gymnastics. On a more serious note, this peice shows excellent depth, both literally and figuritively...the contours of the face in particular are blowing my mind (hee hee). SHOW ME MORE!!!

very nice blending of colours....all my favourite colours too! She looks like her head is on fire....maybe too much thinking...I can identify, I do too much and sometimes feel like I'm going to go insane if I don't stop and chill some.
