Wow, I like this one best of all these shots you did. Her placement in the picture is really dynamic and just looks great. She looks great too, I love the pose. Also the background is perfect, especially that climbing Ivy on the side. I think this is another fav and I'll be watching you.

...could be...
...i see people do it all the time, but i'm actually clueless on how to do it...layers i suppose?
....and yes, she's the queen of weird, distressed poses, which i actually love...

we all have something to learn, we learn by watching, and by doing. I learn video games my wife plays on her turn, then i play and beat her, because i learned from her indirectly.
that and i don't do many portraits, i need practice on that

I truely love this shot, It's beautifully composed and what with her great pose and attire it just fits all together so poetically and all finished of in some lovely tones.

mm, nice outfit!! I started humming A Perfect Circle's "The Nurse Who Loved Me" when I saw this shot. Excellently strange pose, too, and I love her hair.

very nice composition. The only thing i would have to say is.. It might be nice if the whole thing was in focus instead of just the subject. I say this becuse one of her feet is a bit out of focus and I think the vine could be a very powerful aspect of the picture. Very nice job though. THe way it is now is still pretty cool

...yep, i do agree for the most part...
...as with many of my works as i refine techniques and such, there's a dual purpose in many of my shots...
...in this one it happened to be a first test of my 'new' east german zeiss lens, which i expected to be sharp as a tack stopped down, but i also wanted to see how it looked wide open...
...didn't exactly fulfill the purposes of this particular shot as you point out, but given that the shortcomings were technical, i liked it enough to consider it a deviation and not a scrap...

i think this is one of the best ... some what erotic/emotional/gothic/ bla bla bla photos i have seen in a long time. for some reson it is every refressing and i have no idea what makes it different then anything else i have seen.

...thanks, it was a day of lots of shots and a very sore arm...
...my new zeiss glass makes the camera about 8 pounds and it was a challenging shoot to get thru...
...of the 4 or so rolls out of 10 that are processed, this is my fave so far...
