Nice portrait! This is taken in a studio, I assume? I love the lighting~ Just curious (because I don't do studio photography), what was the original background and how did you get it to look like that?

The background is a wooden plate painted grey. It turns black when the distance to the Model and the light (Beauty dish with grid) is big enough.
