I've been practicing astro a bit lately, and thought Gunnamatta beach could be an OK spot to shoot the stars but the conditions this night were miserable. Even got myself soaked to the thighs like an idiot by a surprise wave.
There were some light clouds, which makes it harder to tell how much of the sky is the milky way core, but that bright star is one of the planets. Don't ask which one though, I dunno heh.
