some stuff i did as small gift for jumbi . It’s her her lovely magical boy, blue, aka count bleck, from her comic. (if you haven’t read it yet, do it, it’s great).Drawing her design for him was a little challenging for me, since our styles are quite different from each other, but I think it turned out pretty alright. I still have no idea how to draw a proper night sky though lol.
Blue would probably not even want to wear a jacket like the one I drew him, but I couldn’t resist.
…Seems like the only thing I’m able to draw nowadays is count bleck…well, i don’t mind X]

Aw man thank you so much!! It was a little challenging transferring her design into my style and still make blue recognizable but I’m happy with the result. and I'm really glad you think it looks good.

oh god... the fluffy boy...
he looks so good though! i love the kind of ":3" face you gave him under his nose, like a philtrum. and that picture where you can see the inside of the cape and stuff is just amazing. the pose, the expression, the colors? absolutely perfect.
he looks so good in the jacket, but he'd have a hell of a time getting it off because of the sleeves. i guess it would look fine from the front but he would need a big opening in the back of the sleeve for that blade... and then it would only be on one side. X]
he might be able to make a vest work, i haven't tried it yet.
there's so many little details to the expressions that i love. the little squint to his weaker eye. how much more his face glows when he's got his mouth open. god i could never do all that digitally as naturally as you make it look.

The “:3” face is a result of me not knowing how to draw the count with, like, two main fangs in the middle of his mouth, since I always draw mine with only one (which makes him look a little like a tortoise lol). I struggled quite a bit with that, but I managed to make it work eventually, somehow X]. And I’m really glad you like the pose and expression on that particular one, with his cape. I was constantly worried I might draw him out of character on accident.
Yeah, I was thinking pretty much the same while drawing the jacket. But a vest is a good idea…I might try that in the future…
Of course that’s ok! Add it to the summer schedule, if that’s what you prefer. That’s totally fine.
(these drawings are btw the reason why I asked about blue’s skeletal arms literal weeks ago. I’d love to try my hands on your other designs in the future too, though. you can’t stop me.)

well the game sprite does give him one "fang" in the middle, unless they flip his mouth upside down. it does make your count's facial features a little more foreign-looking and monstrous, it's cool.
i think you've got blue's personality down perfectly and i haven't even shown much of the second half of the story! you have my permission to trust yourself a little more with that.
i haven't drawn him wearing many outfits because unlike the others he just doesn't change up his look that much. but it's fun to experiment. i like drawing nas in different dresses and stuff a lot too.

Yeah, he seems to have pretty much settled on his style. Nas is really fashionable. I really like that formal dark blue and slightly see-through dress you drew her in, some time ago.
