That is beautiful. I loved how you managed to capture so much in it and the colour is quite pretty. My ancestors are from the Guangxi area, I think I'll visit Yima someday because your photograph paints it in lovely way.

So serene and calm. Even the waves are sleeping. Morning? Love the feeling, could imagine how it would feel to travel through the lake by boat, only the sound of the paddle and maybe some wind.

You've got some killer shots! Am I correct in thinking making a very judicious use of HDR? So many people overdo it, but your pictures (if my assumption is correct) manage it just right.

I think inverting it did a lot of good. The grass and leaves at the bottom of the frame make a neat color gradient effect for the sky. I also think the texture of the landscape makes for a bit of nice ambiguity on which side is really up.

I have to say that looking into the water in this photograph makes me think that there's another world down below just waiting to be found ... a Chinese Atlantis
The inverted shot is awesome! It springs all kinds of images into my mind's eye that I didn't get from the original, yet all of the images from the original composition stay the same. Very lovely!
