I guess a new character arc has been opened now that this story is closing.Cynthia has discovered the truth that Jack cares about her more than he shows. Sadly, the truth hurts more now that she realizes how much Jack wants to hide his mutual feelings from her.Β

You're still at war but I'm glad you are winning battles!Β Congratulations! Β Β Β
And I'm so relieved he's still sleeping or at least pretending to be sleeping... they were not ready, yet.
This little moment is so beautiful and so meaningful. I'm so glad our beloved girl finally was able to understand part of what it's going on inside Jack's heart. Feeling like this is a time of deep revelations and important decisions. Love is a decision after all.
Β
It's still a long road to walk but now she's in the right path. *sigh* It's going to turn so painful in a couple of months after this event and it's going to be so hard that she will almost give up.Β Thanks to the divinity that rules their existence, as frustrating as Jack can be sometimes, he is still an adorable and worthy male.
When is meant to be no matter how hard you run away from it, if it's not meant to be no matter how hard you run behind it. What's yours is yours.
Β
It doesnβt matter if our beloved hare insist on running away from his fate, sooner than later it's going to catch him and drown him in love. *chuckle* Iβm dying from the expectation, so many possible scenarios, from the most simple to the most outrageous, but I know any of them will be perfect, just for the simple fact that they will find home, the lonely journey will be over and a conjoined path will start at that moment. Both deserve love and happiness. Both deserve joy.Β

Wait, so I'm kind of confused. The comics are about Jack Savage and Cynthia.. Jack is owned by Disney, the guy who created zootopia made him and still has all that licensing to him. Sure he isn't in the movie but, how is he not disney?
Also I can kind of see why you took them down off e621, since it's mainly a porn site but. That site has to link to the page they found them, and when I wanna check out new comics, that's a good place to look. It's basically free advertising for you guys.
Don't get me wrong, it's your artwork, your free to do whatcha want, I'm just so very confused on those two points.

Considering the Jack Savage you're talking about can't be considered a character for he never was more than a discarded idea with almost no information to follow, we can say that the only Jack Savage belonging to Zootopia is the exact Jack Savage from the old concept, with exactly the same traits, same personality, same job, same wardrobe, same purpose, same etc. And, most of all, he belongs to the Zootopia universe.
This isn't Zootopia, but a completely different world. Jack's real name is Turner since always. His appearance only vaguely resembles that of Jack Savage's "original design", which is nothing more than a scrap which can hardly be considered as character design material. So, no, this Jack doesn't belong to Disney. If this fact can't be perfectly clear in these comics, because Jack has stripes on his face and his surname is "Savage", it'll definitely be clear in the next, and complete comic where he won't have stripes and he'll be called Turner all the time.
We don't need advertising under the name of Zootopia, and we avoid it whenever possible. If you want to check out our work, you can watch us on DA from the very account you're using now. Also, no site can be better than our official one, which is this: fouroclocks.art

The Turner idea might be a good one. I get that it is frustrating to explain this, but you must understand where the confusion comes from, yes? If someone developed a lion character with a red mane and brown eyes named Simba, but put him in an alternate universe, it would be confusing. I do want to make one correction as well. Jack Savage(Zootopia) was dropped as an idea, but not as a property. Byron Howard, the original character designer for Jack still has all rights and ownership of him, and has suggested in livestreams that he could make an appearance if a sequel were green-lit, or in potential TV spinoffs or stories, but of course nothing concrete because Disney is Disney. I will check back from time to time on here to see what's going on. I mainly made this account when Borba released his comic a few months ago. Best of luck!Β

Again, the only property Disney/Byron owns is the Jack Savage as intended by them, put in to the Zootopia setting where the old concept belongs. We don't deny we were inspired by this concept in creating our Jack, but that's all. People need to understand the difference between copying a character and take inspiration from an idea (not even another character).
We don't blame people for their confusion, but we do blame them if after an explanation they insist on saying that our Jack is "Jack Savage from Zootopia".

Man-o-Bore In reply to fouroclocksart [2019-02-06 22:09:16 +0000 UTC]
I'm afraid that's not really how properties work. A character doesn't become a different property just by being removed from its setting.
But I see that you have made Jack your own character since first starting. His personality is wholly original, and his design and name have been changed to differentiate from the Disney character. (Although in the comics his design and name are still that of the Zootopia character).
I think if you really want to keep people from tagging your work as Zootopia-related, then you'd want to go back into your comics and edit Jack to have his new design and name. Then he'd be unambiguously a different character.

Could this be a transition from Jack Savage to his true identity: Jack Turner? I dunno, but on the page which had Jack's birthday note to Cynthia, he wrote "Jack T." but scribbled out the T and wrote S instead. There's also the chance I'm being completely idiotic and the "transition" happened already..?
Also, YUS!! Congrats on taking down those art pieces!! AOIREMART FTW

I can safely say that I cannot stand the repost and I will always fight to eradicate it both as regards my drawings and those of other artists. Credits or non-credits, for me it's a senseless practice, since the platforms where to read official publications exist and users know them quite well. they're public and don't necessarily require login to see or read (we also have a personal website, so there are no problems with accessibility to our work). If then the repost is done in the wrong thread, the problem is strengthened.
So guys, we realize that internet is vast and little controllable, so if you see strange things around, don't hesitate to contact us privately, we will always guarantee your anonymity and it will be a great help for us, as it was in this case π

Have you ever considered leveraging the google search engine?Β If you are in the images.google.com search page, (in case you didn't know) you can drag and drop images of your work into a special zone near the search bar to search for images that are similar to the one you submitted.Β For example, I downloaded and used this image for a search:
And turned up these results:
www.google.com/search?tbs=sbi:β¦
Which returned about 25,270,000,000 results.Β Just the second page alone has numerous results that associate this image with Zootopia.

You'd be surprised at how complicated video games are to develop.Β I thought it would be relatively easy until I started working on them.Β That said, they are easier to do today than they were.Β Whenever you have some free time, I recommend you look into Unity3D.Β It's the primary engine I develop on,Β It primarily uses C# for its scripting engine, but also uses JavaScript which shares some similarity with Java.Β I've also done some minor development work using Unreal though scripting in C++ is much more complicated.Β More powerful too, but that's the trade-off.Β Still they are the best engines on the market for game development with respect of ease of entry.Β There may be better, but I'm unfamiliar with them.Β If you ever decide to make your game, feel free to look me up.
