Thank you! I've had commissions of her done by other people, as I have had done with all my characters, but there's something to be said for making a mental vision come out on your own. I'm positive you know that feeling. Other people tend to miss something you might feel is important. Something obscure or unexplainable.

The problem of subjective reception is present with both an image and a text. While text is obviously more effective for communicating internal states there is from the start the problem of the shared meaning of words. An image is at least quite immediate as far as that goes, it gives visual information quite directly. It is with the projection of an internal interpretation from the external appearance that seems to be the problem when trying to control the reception of an image. I am probably overreaching here but some of the fascination for me of your realism in picturing your character for us is bound up in that dichotomy. As if with words you are trying to create your vision in the reader's mind, where as with the image you give a peak into your mind. The more stylized the depiction the more it is like text in a way.

Thank you! I had a little practice in posing, fitting props, and lighting leading up to this. Some valuable advice from some friends too. This is my first recreation of one of my own characters in 3D.

Thank you! It was an interesting transition going from mostly anime styled pictures to this more realistic look. Smaller eyes, actual nose, aging her, etc. It was a real struggle to stop fiddling with features and declare her done.
