This really is depressing if you think about it... Knowing that their immorality is something that could eventually lead to loss. Lots of loss. It will always take friends and family away from them. And now, Twilight canonically will have to endure the same pain for the vrest of her life as well. They'll just have to stay strong.

So that's why I say the only immortal alicorns are Celestia and Luna. Twilight and Cadance perished, but the sisters didn't.

Well, my theory is that there are two kinds of alicorns; Greater alicorns (Luna, Celestia) who are super-powerful and functionally immortal, and Lesser alicorns (Twilight, Cadance) who are only a half-step above the main pony races.

What about Sombra or Chrysalis? I know they are both evil but are they also "Superman-alicorn-Pony-dafuq_am_I_writing?" or something that makes em' immortal?

Well, Chrysalis isn't even a pony, and I'm not sure of her power level at all (fine, she beat Celestia - but I point to the Worf Effect on that one).
Sombra... I'm at a loss to explain. He definitely a unicorn, but he's operating at Alicorn-level power. If I had to make a guess, I'd say he found some way to permanently amplify his power (we've seen a few power amplifiers in the show; it's not a huge stretch). But, unlike my theory on alicorns, there's no real evidence for where he came from or how he got to dominate an entire city-state.

As long as you do not specify, we can not know it. After all, they would not tell to us if Spike outlive to Twilight and the others.

But they did not specify the details. For all we know or Twilight has not acquired immortality when she is become an Alicorn, or even her friends will become immortal in some way.

Jury's out on that; all we know about what Twilight's ascension means is that she's got wings and a new title. Similarly, all we know about Cadance's lifespan is that she was the pony equivalent of a young teen as the same time Twilight was a filly, so there's no telling - as yet - whether immortality is an Alicorn thing, or something unique to Celestia and Luna. I prefer the latter, myself, but there really isn't enough evidence to say anything conclusively.

People think it is a high ranking spell. Celestia of course mastered it and used it on herself and Luna, and Candence doesn't want it because she wants to stay with Shining. I'm sure it will be a test for Twilight to learn it or something.
