I think more shading upon the body would help improve the feel, she seems a little flat near the ear and tail still a nice piece if a little furry for a my taste

My lack of shading is the one thing that sometimes really bothers me. I think it's because I don't have proper marker to shade red fur...

Fortunately, I didn't buy set of copics- I'm buying them by the piece. And they don't gave colours I expected, of course xD Still like them, though. I'm buying few more this week, maybe I'll finally get the colours I want...

oh i baught the 72 set from ebay much more cheaper then buying them at once (since i would have to go to london to buy them in person) although i now need to buy some to get better results... Yes you should be able to... Oh may i ask what paper you use with your copics?

I don't like 72 sets- I don't want to pay for approximately ten violet markers, I don't need them >.< And "B" set has, like, 30 grey markers. What the hell?! D:< I bought my markers from one and only Polish internet copic shop, and sets aren't cheaper there, so buying them by piece was the best solution for me
Oh, I use every acid free paper that isn't structured. Usually Canson or Koh-I-Noor popDraw [link] (it's awesome when it comes to using markers

Actually i thought that when i baught them i was like "what the hell have i done" i have usedthem in all actually and looking to buy the B set maybe not sure...
as for the copic paper be careful i tried it great with fineliner work and wonderful for the patterns i do but bloody hell it was a nightmare to colour on, it does not allow you to layer the colours. personally i prefer card stock or printer paper...

Technical paper, even acid one, is good with markers too. Painting on it is impossible, but markers look fabulous on it o.O
