It’s Christmas Eve, and Baby Bright Night sees a giant glowing light outside of her bedroom window! What could it be? Why, it’s the famous star of Bethlehem!

This is another drawing I made back in 2021. In hindsight, I’m not entirely proud of how I did the shading. But with that said, I still kinda like this one! For those not in the know, Baby Bright Night is a baby pony in the third generation of My Little Pony, AND she’s CANONICALLY Christian. What do I mean by this? As a toy, she would say the bedtime “now I lay me down to sleep” prayer when someone would squeeze her hoof. I found about this character from someone who commented on the profile of AnScathMarcach (a person who really inspires me and I really appreciate as a fellow Christian artist/cartoonist) back in 2017. In fact, I dedicate this picture to Anscathmarcach, and I hope she likes it! The title is based on the Casting Crowns song “While You Were Sleeping”. I hope you guys like the drawing! Happy Christmas Eve!
