I've seen a lot of explanations for the Gaster Followers.
I think I may have just picked up on the reason in this AU. And you've been dropping hints since... I dunno page 3? I don't have a photographic memory. Pretty damn early at any rate.
Now. The big questions.
What was the purpose of this experiment? Was it still linked with his research on timelines? What did it actually do to them? Was this the intended result? If not, did Gaster know what happened to them? They're under his control again now, so presumably they ended up in the same place as Gaster. Did he do something similar to the experiment on Sans? The hell is Sans drinking? Is that really a wise idea to be drinking? Dammit I'm thirsty now. For a milkshake. I could really go for a milkshake. Drinking a milkshake would DEFINITELY be a wise idea.
