Mission Details:
After the terrifying events of Mission 4 in the Prismatic Jungle, Knight struggles with his grief and self-hatred over Yukina's absence. Hostile and full of rage, he keeps himself cooped up in their cave, lashing out at anyone who attempts to comfort him. However, in this time of giving and gratitude, he'll be forced to see the hard way just how valuable even the smallest of gifts can be, and how those we care about are never truly gone.

Finally, the next page is here! Sorry for the wait XP Having so many different Event 4 comics going on is both confusing and time consuming. But it's also super fun!!

Anyway, this is the second page of my collab with Mia It feels strange because this is the first page that I've drawn, yet the second one of the comic. Mia already drew the first one, which is linked above of course. Mia will also be drawing the next page, Page 3, and then you'll see another page from me when we get to Page 4

So about this page. Looooootssss of things going on. Firstly, we switch from the Night Baskers to a certain lonely Growlithe. Knight has been keeping in and near his cave for the past week, ever since they returned from the jungle. Filled with grief, sorrow and remorse, Knight has been getting very little sleep. And what sleep he does get is filled with nightmares such as this one. So, the first half of this page is his dream, which is why it's in black and white. The colored transition represents his waking up.

I am really happy with how creepy his dream turned out :3 even if it's a little short, it has so many hidden meanings it's making my head spin XP All of which are spoiler, of course.

Then we have another brand new character from yours truly~! I seem to be creating a lot of those lately XD But it can't be helped with 4 different teams to work on. This one is a shiny Ralts named Jasmine. She's a bit creepy, but surprisingly cheerful and friendly. She has her own twisted sense of humor, and says things in a very strange manner. Her twisted personality is due to the fact that she has been cursed since birth with visions of the future...mainly terrible catastrophes and the deaths of pokemon. She has learned to cope with these visions by doing her best to help the pokemon in them prevent their terrible fate. Although she is not part of any guild, she helps pokemon whenever she can.

There's not much more I can tell you about Jasmine. She seems to be pretty nice, though she's also very very manipulative. Kinda comes with being able to read people's feelings and being a telepath who can see the future. She's always bending and redirecting fates, and everything she does is for a purpose.

One thing I can tell you is that as a result of her lifelong visions, a much darker side to her personality lies dormant, pushed aside by her forced cheerfulness. This other side usually only comes out during or near times of visions, mainly lasting afterwards. It can also appear in times of deep emotional stress, or when a pokemon is seriously injured in front of her, and is very dangerous. Her darker side is much more ruthless and cruel, and very, very sadistic. Somehow, some part of her, as much as she wants to deny it, has grown to take joy in the pain of others. When let to the surface, she endeavors to increase this joy by causing as much pain an torment as possible, on both friend and foe.

That's all I can say about Jasmine. And since I've blather on enough already, that's all I will say for these comments!

PS. In case you're wondering, Knight went all "flame on" in preparation for a Flare Blitz lol Just in case that wasn't clear.
