Description
Here is the final version of this forest spirit. It's mostly done with watercolors, then i did some edition with Photoshop to get more deep (and 'cause I love experiment).

Well, I was not totally happy with the last version of this illustration... so I did lot of modifications (add more details , and re work on the base,etc..),then I adapted it as giant kakemono. It will be at the Ludibreizh festival to present my works this summer. I hope you will like it !

Sooo nice! I love so much color and textures... but, How did you do the background textures? You added it after watercolors with photoshop, don't you? I'm just curious, because it looks like wax crayon strokes

A part of the background was done with procreate (that I prefer for that kind of render), so yep this is made digitally with custom crayon brushes .
the base of this illustration is made mostly with watercolors elements i rearranged on photoshop, then I added more details with photoshop.
Textures come from the paper and watercolor painting.

Décor et couleurs magnifiques, le résultat final est vraiment superbe.
J'aime particulièrement le contraste entre les cheveux blanc du personnage et son masque de loup noir.
(est-ce que c'est le dessin sur lequel tu travaillais lors du salon des créateurs à Saint -Amand ?)

Oui, j'étais effectivement déjà sur cette illu lors du salon de Saint-Amand. Je ne me rappelle plus à quel stade tu l'as vue quand tu es passé, j'ai bien pris mon temps et pas mal avancé dessus depuis...
J'ai remarqué que je travaillais souvent dans les mêmes camaïeux alors j'ai voulu me forcer à jouer sur les contrastes. le vert du décor et le rouge de l'habit, les cheveux blancs et le noir du masque. je pense que je réitérerai l'exercice et pousserait même un peu plus loin pour les prochaines illus.
