Thanks! I wish I had UF! I actually made some nice things with the free trial version, but of course I couldn't save them because of the logos all over them. One day, I'll get UF!

Tree farm, maybe Fractals reminds of nothing and, at the same time, everything That's one of the things that make fractals so fascinating

Oh, I love it! You truely choose a great title for it, it's guiding the eye in this picture with so many details to notice. I can see the 'guardians' there and the portal, which is kind of amazing in it's own right. This reminds me of old science fiction books I used to buy, they had very similar covers. Truely inspiring. Thanks for sharing

FractalMonster In reply to a-neverending [2013-09-05 21:09:33 +0000 UTC]

You love one of my raw fractal images And the for title, adding a good title is the last tricky thing in publishing good fractals cause fractals reminds of nothing and, at the same time, everything That's one of the things that make them so fascinating BTW, have you heard about fractals before?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

a-neverending In reply to FractalMonster [2013-09-05 21:32:12 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I can imagine. I'm bad with titles for everything (Stories, Pictures, Characters, Pets, even doodles) so it'd be a nightmare for me to have to give a picture with so many details a name. You seem to have a gift for it, though.
Any yes, vaguely. We've touched that subject in maths, though I'd be lying if I were to say that I completly got it.

I would not say I am good also A few times they may be rather good, as in this case You are on the right way Fractal geometry is the math of the new science of chaos and complexity Below some recycled info about fractals:

First: Check out the zoom sequences (only images) from page 4 in the pdf's BlomkΓ₯lsfort and De blΓ₯ spiralernas oΓ€ndlighet. The end motives are my deviations Cauliflowerfort and Blue Spirals

Second: In this journal you have some links to short cool fractal animations I stumbled over at YouTube.

Third: If you wanna try some free simple fractal software, go to this journal. You don't need to know the math behind

Fourth: Wikipedia has a nice site.

Fifth: Maybe you would appreciate my Chaotic series of fractal articles if you have a little theoretical interest

.. and from the middle of the nineties there is a fantastic TV program about fractals, Colors of Infinity by Arthur Clarke Really beautiful soundtracks

Hope you don't feel spammed

FractalMonster In reply to fractalyzerall [2013-09-05 11:39:58 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that's due to the interaction between the sets M+ and M-. In this image M- is drawn. If M+ would be drawn you would have normal Mandelbrot bulbs with "channels" see articles 16 - 26 (especially 17 and 18) in my Chaotic series of fractal articles
