While I am okay with circumcision, I do not support routine infant circumcision or forced circumcision, I think a person should only choose the circumcision for themselves if they want it and I would never make my children have a circumcision since I wouldn't want them to resent me or commit suicide because people have committed suicide over their circumcision.So, in a nutshell, I'm okay with circumcision, I just don't like routine infant circumcision or forced circumcision.

Actually, that is a theory that has been disproven. An uncircumcised penis does not grow germs under the foreskin, unless the person just fully neglects to clean it during baths and/or showers. It isn't hard to clean either. And it's actually very possible for a circumcised infant to gain an infection from the wound because well, if he pees or poops in his diaper, then it's gonna get in there, and sometimes it could infect the area, sometimes fatally. Some infants even go into shock during the circumcision and end up dying because the pain is too much for them and they're strapped to a table as they do it.. Another thing about an uncircumcised penis is that the foreskin functions the same way a female's clitoris does. It basically IS the clitoris for males. Take that away, and it'll be harder for him to feel sexual pleasure in the future. And to those religious nuts who say foreskin is an ungodly piece of flesh... If God creates every human body, then why would He create a person with a foreskin if he did not want them to have it? If God created it only for the sole purpose of having people rip it off the poor child forcefully then He is a twisted sadist and I've no respect for Him whatsoever. I mean, God or no God, it's obvious that EVERY body part (whether it be foreskin or clitoris or what have you), is attached to a person for a reason. Everyone has rights to their OWN body. And to take a part of their body away forcefully is taking away their rights to it and their freedom of choice. If they wanna get circumcised in the future, they can go right ahead. But the parents/doctors need let them CHOOSE. Unless it is a life or death situation for the infant of course.

Yes, its true that circumscion is only necessary for life or death situations but men are still men no matter how many skins are cut off.

If you want to do it to yourself, fine. But do not think that it's okay to do it to an INFANT who has no say over the matter, regardless of you beleifs. Keep your religion away from people's bodies, keep your politics away from from people's bodies, keep your personal preferences, your traditions, and your desire for money away from people's bodies.

I personally don't know a lot about it. They didn't explain it to me, all I know is that they cut part of a boy's weener off. But I think it's reasonable to support their right to decide if they want to. Or if not, are we at least giving the baby a local anesthetic? I mean, I can imagine it would hurt...

I don't know. It's our culture, and I mean a country that's perfectly fine with people getting everything from piercings to tattoos, which are also painful and unnecessary. Still, it's a good point you make.
Again, I'm still pretty ignorant about male anatomy, and I usually don't compare what penises with/without circumcision look like because they all sort of gross me out (that's just me and I know it's not normal).
