Is Paul dead? Is he died then, in '66? And "А Day In The Life" is one of the "keys"?I never believe it. But recently I read an article that made me a moment to doubt ... Everything is so mysteriously.... but.... I love Paul, who he was then and who he is now, whoever he is.... Oh, c'mon, it's bullshit, Paul is Paul, the same Paul, and in December I am going to his concert in Moscow ^__^
I think that nevertheless there was some crash and maybe Paul was really replaced to the double for a while ... it is quite possible he was really pretty slapped and needed surgery - that's why he was changed a little
It's just my stupid beautiful fantasy... Paul is battered and bleeding but alive.. If John was there, what would he do?
And by the way, I think Paul will live to a hundred years and make a couple of kids - precisely because they buried him then

I don't believe the theory is true, but this is a wonderful drawing! Have you ever thought about making a drawing of Paul receiving the news of John's death? Such a sad subject to draw... I wish I could draw it.

Oh, well, I'm just not very good at capturing John's likeness. I can do Paul, but John's nose always gets me! I've drawn him once for a fic I wrote, but ah.. It's not very good. That's why, I guess. <3

Gladly he isn't dead..yet.
Even though this theory gets me quite paranoid and making me downright insane to almost were I go off the walls about Paul is dead and this William Campbell guy is Paul.
But I know Paul is Paul, He is still alive and healthy at the age of 71 and still rocking out. But that doesn't mean I hate the theory. I love it because of the fantastic yet fun clues that kinda make it seem like Paul actually got replaced by a double. And sometimes its a good prank to play on for a Beatle fan or two.

I love the concept of this drawing. I thought the same when I heard the song. So heartbreaking. I know of course the one and only Paul James McCartney isn't dead, that no one could replace him because literally no one has ever looked so beautiful (I'm serious!). He has the same singing voice, everything, to every single little detail. I really hate the idiotic cult group that actually thinks this is true, and I always try to ignore and avoid things that have to do with the topic, but what you did! It's amazing... I love the strokes and color choices. So realistic, and saddening! John's expression is also very convincing, indeed. Going to my favorites! ♥

Holy crap! Just looking at this picture i wanted to cry because....well i love paul so yea. But i don't really believe that whole "paul is dead" thing. I also read that it happened when (after the beatles broke up) paul hid at his place in Scotland and people were beginning to think maybe he was dead. So, a reporter took it said he died in '66 and there were clues that said it. But, when some other reporter went to his place in scotland paul got pissed and threw some crap on the reporters. But then he realized how bad that made him look and agreed to talk to them and explained that none of that he never was dead and had been Paul the entire time.
Also, for the clues that he was dead, I came up with a theory. They did that right after John had made that remark about Jesus and their album sales were going down and what not, so I think they came up with "paul is dead" to get their fans interested to buy the albums and whatnot again.

I think your theory of him actually getting in a car crash and possibly having surgery and stuff is very interesting. I never thought of it that way. But I don't think he would have had a double for it, I think that if it did happen the other Beatles probably would have taken time off until Paul was better, or they could have continued without him and Paul could have recorded his stuff over what they had when he came back.

I didn't mean that they create something with a doule, no. I think it was for a wery little while... It's scary to imagine what would happen if reporters learned. that Paul suffered in the accident..because he was at the peak of popularity. It would have been numerous riots, mass hysteria, maybe even a wave of suicides.... so that's why...even if it was not serious - the fans are so fans...
