We worked with her from 2005 through 2006 when she just disappeared. I always had a sense with her that there was more beneath the surface, more of a difficult story waiting to be told. She told us about the car wreck that severely damaged her face and the repeated surgeries that had been required to repair it. There were references to drinking and arguments but never the full story. Even now so many years later, I find her perplexing, enigmatic and beautiful.
