This is really good. A nice mix of Beksinski with some Giger thrown in, I'm not sure if this was intended but I'm getting a Xenomorph feel from this. Great work by the way.Β

I'm planning on getting back to this kind of wood-grain style, it's been awhile since I've done one.

I've gotten a decent amount of comments comparing to something like that. Almost like aΒ woodcut or linocut. I think it's partly due to the pen I use, a technical pen called a rapidograph. They can be a bit finicky to work with, but it's the best pen I've ever used. It allows for so many textural possibilities

You can still get them on amazon, pretty cheap, especially if you're careful with it, they can last for years. I've dropped a few and learned that lesson the hard way, however haha
