ok so I was listening to akatsuki no kuruma(wheel of destiny) while I was colouring ruby for one of my other drawings and thought "red and black.....isn't that the same colour as the zaft uniform in gundam seed?" and it turns out it is and I decide I want to try drawing the rwby characters in gundam character uniforms. so I started(of course) with ruby, I'm not sure how it looks since it was surprisingly hard to find a reference for this pose. and the helmet was pretty difficult to draw to, since I've never drawn a helmet before so sry if it looks a bit weird. also as you can see in the background I have sketched in a gundam, my original plan was to draw each rwby character with their own gundams......but for those of you who've seem my attempt to draw freedom, know that gundams are not my strong point plus I'm trying to "create" a "new" gundam which makes it even hard. sooooo if I decide to stick with my original plan then this drawing is going to take awhile to finish. I hope you guys like this idea and wish me luck on it cuz I'll definitely will need it TT^TTrwby is by roosterteeth and gundam is by sunrise

nice one can you made yang xao's gundam is like um 00 raiser is has raiser jet to connect to the 00's back unless i like gundams and RWBY to have cross over

well as of this moment I can't promise anything cuz I haven't even finished ruby's gundam yet, but I'll definitely keep your suggestion in mind. and thx for the suggestion >w<

yea most likely their gundams will just be parts of different gundams combined together to make a "new gundam" but it just depends on which gundam I think fits that character and with part would be best. other than that I don't think there's any other way for me to "create" one

well I'm trying my best to create an original gundam but that waaaaaay harder that what I initially thought. but I can tell you this it'll will be mostly red and black >w<. and yes that's based off of the zaft uniform, I just changed the zaft logo to the beacon logo and some of the colouring

Oh awesome, i sort of think the gundam may look like Deathscythe from Gundam Wing,
i noticed the outfit cause i saw gundam seed/destiny way to much

yeah the first gundam "design" which had a scythe, that came to mind was deathscythe. but of course being an idiot I want to create an actual original gundam. but I most likely well scrap that idea and use a design that's similar to deathscythe and/or forbidden.

that sounds interesting, could have a bit of sandrock from gundam wing to since it had that cloth on it, or something like master gundam or Winged gundam zero (the one with real wings on it) how they fold over it

true sandrock does have the cape-y cloth thingy, and my design right now does include a wing kind of like master gundam's(might scrap it though not sure yet). and are you talking about wing zero custom?(the one in the movie, endless waltz)
