She looks very pretty~ I heard from my dad that there are no pure-blooded filipinos probably aside fom the aetas.
Is there a full body version of her?

I guess she would be a great character for Philippines.
We want more countries in Hetalia, whoa!

This is just the chibi version - I have a small detailed drawing of her that I plan on posting up eventually.
Ja... more characters would be nice, but it's up to the creator of Hetalia.
I kinda feel his pain in making all his characters though - I've been making watercolor portraits of every featured character from the series, and I'm not even half-way done!
So far, I got France, Germany, Japan, North Italy, Austria, Poland, Spain, America, Canada, England, and Russia finished. China is almost finished (I still have to paint him), and I have Sweden, Lithuania, Hungary, Greece, and Finland sketched out.

hmmm, now that I think about it ..I haven't read a manga or watched an anime that had a Phlip as a character. I've seen mexicans, french, japanese, chinese, american, german, indian, many other small people ... but never philipinos.... messed up.

Exactly.
If you think Nazis are bad in discriminating people, I'd say that Asians as a whole are worst - they'll hate their own race more than they hate people of other ancestry only because they're of different nationalities. Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia may be in the same region of Southeast Asia and may also be considered as 3rd world countries just like the Philippines, but these neighboring countries discriminate Filipinos - aside from getting more attention and less discrimination from major Asian countries such as China and Japan
(I had a Cambodian classmate who kept saying the Philippines isn't part of Asia, and she kept sneering how it's a ghetto... so messed up )
This might be because Filipinos aren't considered to be "real" Asian: aside from having Chinese and/or Japanese ancestry, most have European blood (especially Spanish, with a good amount of French, German, Dutch, and British in there as well), and few also have Black/Aboriginal mixed in as well (this is the explanation why Filipino is its own "race").
Also, most Filipinos are Christians while the rest of Asia is either Buddhist or Muslim. Spain brought Christianity while America and other European nations brought Protestantism to the islands, and this adds more to the cultural barrier the Philippines has with her neighbors.
But Filipinos are all over the world, and they really play a large role in society. Here in America, there's over 200,000 Filipinos in the medical field; imagine if they all left one day - we'd be all screwed. XD
So it really doesn't make much sense why Filipinos don't get the credit they deserve.

Ah... how to draw a Filipino person... XD
In TV, Filipinos are often depicted as light skinned with brown hair and eyes, and they look a little bit more Spanish than Asian (for some reason, half White girls, like myself, always seem to play the roles of the "bitch" in Filipino soap operas ).
It also depends on which region of the Philippines - towards the North, Filipinos look a bit more Chinese/Japanese. In central Philippines, they look mixed (mainly European X Asian). And in the south, they look more like the native Negrito people, Arab, and Malaysian.
But I'd look at what traits the majority of Filipinos have: straight black/brown hair, slightly slanted brown eyes, and sun-tanned skin with a somewhat flattened nose.

HAHA~ I Lol'd at that first comment about "white-halves" in soap operas (its probably due to the Philipino view of an american woman).
ANd for a half, you sure know your phlips~ though I imagine you have some full Philipinos in you family as well, Im guessing from you mother side~
Actually every philipino I know here is a half... though in LA, every phlip I know is full. Well there are a lot of white people here~

Well, its not so much that we are in america its just that this region has a lot more white people than other regions. For example, Im from LA, so asians (mainly koreans) and people south of the border are plentiful, whereas white people seem to be at lower numbers.
Its the same on my dad's side of the family, he had about 5-6 older siblings, most of them have married had a minimum of 3 children, those children are older than I am and they have had 3-5 children each, and some of those children are also getting ready to pop out even more kids @_@
In fact when I went to visit my family in Mexico for the first time, I wasn't able to meet everyone ¬,¬, Im just lucky they are just in Mexico alone Or I really would never be able to meet them all~
BTW, I've noticed you have been busting out a lot of those Hetalia rep. portraits!
Ur using watercolor pencils? Wow, they look very well done~ I'm moving a bit more towards realism myself but I dont really like to draw actual realism -_-|||
So when ever I do try to draw something realistically, I draw it anime style (ie my friends' portraits Im doing in anime style, though I dont think I've uploaded any since they are a bit on the light side)

Ja, she is suppose to look a little scared/worried: Spain lost her to America in the Spanish-American War, and Japan stole her from America during WW2.
But the Philippines' true personality is that of a spoiled princess, scheming on how to get rid of her various suitors, like killing Magellan. XD
(if I get the time to do so, I'll try to write down a little Hetalia fan story of the Philippines)
Anyway, I'm glad to what you have to say.
Even though I'm half Filipina (my other half is American, which is further broken down into German, Swedish, and Irish), I still have a great pride of land where my mother is from - that's why I made my own Hetalia character for the Philippines.
