Man... the old losing teeth dream. Why is that common?

apparently it'a a common anxiety dream and it usually meens you feel powerless and like you're losing controll.

My wife has this book called "The Dreamer's Handbook," and it says that too... but I wonder about mass-interpretations. To me it's always seemed that dreams should be more personal. Yet dreams about being naked, and falling (or flying), and losing teeth do seem to be almost universal. Which is kind of weird.
