Description Something I noticed. That's definitely how I feel like reacting to petitioners nowadays.

personally I prefer the age old, look interested, get them to tell me the whole reason why they would want me to sign, and then say I'm not interested.
That or when their pushy I sign it Micky Mouse ^_^

Have you ever met anyone with a petition worth signing? XD
Or a better question, knew what the heck they're asking people to sign for. o_o

Anyway, great comic, it made me laugh. ^^

You made me laugh out loud XD Good comic.

They must be really all over the place if you make so many comics about them.

They're like flies, I swear! I worry about getting too monotonous with so many comics about petitions, but dangit, they're so annoying!

Thanks! :3

Also, I love the fac that no matter how crazy you make your comics it always seems plausible that someone at some point might actually do that

I think there's a rule of humor in there...like "exaggerated but plausible" or something. 'cause I know if you really over-exaggerate something, it often falls flat. But if it's crazy, but still plausible enough that you can wrap your mind around it, it's funny.

Or...something like that.

Nah, don't worry about repetitivness, as long as the joke itself is different and good you're set. And so far so good.

LOL! I can understand how you feel when dealing with people like that. You just want to run past them babbling something tha makes no sense.

I think I've seriously lucked out... I'm working on an associates at a junior collage, and we don't really have petitioners here, thank God.
Mostly all we get are people handing out little Bibles and trying to preach when you're trying to fight your way to class. Very annoying.
I think I react to them the same way you do in the last panel.

One thing you notice (or at least I have) is that the ones with the clipboards tend to be firstyears.

...The older students don't put others through this anymore.

It's actually pretty rare that the petitioners on our campus are students at all. We have an open campus, which means anyone can wander in, including people paid to badger students for signatures on a petition they know nothing about.

I hate those people!! And it's always the same petition or survey...

Adapting to the current environment...vital to species survival.

I usually watch football games on tv to see how the guy with the ball duck, juke, flinch, and fake out oncoming defensive tacklers in order to run past them.

It works for me when it comes to oncoming petitioners, too.

Never a wasted Fall Sunday.

The last time someone asked me to sign a petition it was some sort of scam. A deaf mute wanted me to sign some form and give some for charity, since he caught me off guard, I gave him a Euro.
But when I though about it, he was scamming people as asking for their area code to find the most gullible and generous ones...

But I do sign online petitions though!

I'm always a sucker for the stupid sad kids trying to sell you candy so they can go on a fun trip, that I can't afford to go on.
