Description Another screenshot of the Canoness for/from the Witch Hunters Mod...

-----------------------

Again, some details for the people who followed the mod story...

What is quite amazing here is that this model, after 3 years, was still uncomplete ! In fact, I never found the time to complete her army-paintable textures. As she was one of the first models made for the mod, her textures were created with a black base, like the arbites, so there was a huge work needed for a good recalibrated neutral base - But anyway, as the army paintable models were never released...

In close up like this, you can see that her eyes and mouth are animated. This is of course impossible to see with the default Dawn of War game view, but it could have been useful for a campaign with cut scenes...

IIRC, I also never had the time to complete all the animations of her clothes. You can see this in game when she is pushed on her back by a special attack or an explosion.

On a design point of the view, her shoulder were made very big, to give her more presence with the default view. I also like big shoulder pads like on the mechas from Five Star Stories... But I'm not sure that I would do that again today. I'm more adept of realism these days.

Plop !

When you say the mod story, are you talking about the campaign or of the story of the mod itself "the people, stuff that happened when expansions came out etc.."

I was really hyped, back in 05-06-07 it saddened me when the entire team dissapeared out of the blue.

Too bad those missing things can only be unlocked in worldbuilder or something.

BUT.

JaguarLord is working on a campaign involving the WitchHunters and Inquisition: Daemonhunt so we may see something more by then.

from what I experienced as a quiet observer about this mod I strongly doubt that. This mod and its contents are better guarded than Fort Knox it seems. Whatever mod even tries to include them nowadays gets ripped/bashed/banned or godknowswhat.

I still presume there's a nill chance that the TC textures might ever get released is there?
Those were sadly one of the few things that lacked in the old beta release.
