Description A painting a did about a year ago, finally getting around to posting it. My curtains in my bedroom were my inspiration.
Done using Acrylic paints
20"x16" canvas.

I really love this style of art, and I love this style of suns and moons. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> You have a really good idea here, and I like the way you've executed it, and the color scheme looks very nice. However, it seems as though the right side of this painting is lighter than the left. I can't tell if this is how the painting looks or if it's just the picture here. It really stands out on the face of the sun, especially on the eye. Other than that, I really enjoy this painting and the little details, especially the eyes of the sun. Overall, I would say a 9/10. Beautiful work!

Thank you so very much Ashley for taking the time to critique this piece! I really appreciate the positive feedback! You are the first person to ever submit a critique on one of my artworks. After you mentioned that the left side of the picture was lighter I also noticed it. Unfortunately, (thinking back) there was a window to the left of my painting when I took this photo. :/ Sometime soon I will re-take the photo and refresh the pic on here. Honest opinions like this from an artist like yourself comes in handy when it comes to improving a piece such as this, even being a slight flaw like the one I ran into. It will greatly benefit me in presenting this piece better! Again, I really do appreciate the feedback! THANK YOU!!

i love this style of art, too. it reminds me a lot of laurel burch's work (so sorry she died so young). this sun is really pretty.
