Updated! Wehew! Currently lacking a headshot because I got lazy, hopefully that'll appear in the future. Anyway, this is my little boy from ThunderClan in all his glory, with slight modifications done to his design and so forth. The small pelt chart does not contain the stripes (they can be added after artist's wish, for the most part), since they'd be way too complicated to use anyway.

His written app will probably be updated eventually.

+ Honest - "You've got a bit of fur poking out right there, you know..."
This cat will tell you whatever's on his mind, no matter when or what situation he's in. Be it he's encountering a friendly and polite cat, or a hostile and furious cat. He'll tell you exactly what he thinks of the situation, and gives you clear messages on whether he likes you or not. This usually leads to an easier solving of cases, and he's usually seen as a good listener and helper in difficult situations.

+ Charming - "Oh... Sorry, I swear I wasn't staring at y-you..."
Charmingly cute, one might say! He doesn't know much about flirting, and will probably never be a good flirt either. However, he does seem to have the ability to unconsciously charm the ladies. Whether it's because of his clueless behavior or his stuttering, we'll never know.

+ Loyal - "ThunderClan is, and always will be, my home!"
Despite lacking the feeling and wish to die for his clan, Crookedfang has shown innumerable times that he is, and always will be a ThunderClan cat. He's fiercely protective of his borders, and lashes out at anyone who may criticize his birth-clan. It can be thought that Crookedfang does not have loyalty towards the cats of ThunderClan though, but rather to the territory.

+/- Clumsy - "Oops! *falls face-first onto the ground*"
Come again? Yes, he's really clumsy. Especially when running, in which he can often be seen falling, stumbling or genuinely messing up his running technique to such a degree that it slows him down quite a lot. However, his clumsy falls and stuttering tongue may also cause him to come off as charming and sweet. His clumsiness leans towards the negative side though.

- Pessimistic - "What's the point in trying? We'll all die anyway..."
Oh StarClan, this cat doesn't do much but believe the end is near! He sure doesn't bring any positive energy to the game, and isn't very good with pep-talks, since he'll most likely end up being overly honest and do a "realistic analysis" as he calls it. In most cases, his "realistic" readings of situations are the worst outcome of the event though.

- Hot-headed - "Say WHAT? You think I'm temperental? Why you little-"
Ohoho, watch out! A single word can get this tom fired up, and when we talk about fired up I mean REALLY fired up! He'll jump at your throat if you critize him in the wrong manner, or merely do anything whatsoever to annoy him. He flies to his paws in an instant.

- Vain - "Oh no, oh no, oh no! My fur got mud on it?! *scream of desperation*"
His unusual coat for a tom really makes this tom think highly of his fur, and his physical looks. Even though his ear's torn and his tooth's crooked doesn't mean he won't care about what he looks like, right? It's very important for him to keep his coat clean, and this clearly expressed vain attitude oftenly confuses and annoys cats he encounters.

This is a tom whom belongs to a very rare kind: Tortoiseshell toms. Yes, you heard me right. The three colours flashing across his body consists of the colours dark brown, orange and white, the three together bringing him in for a tortoiseshell-like look. Since this colour-variations is almost exclusivly found in she-cats though, he has a rather large risk for being infertile/unable to have kits. Even Crookedfang doesn't know if that's the case or not.

He's fairly skinny, and with long legs that makes him look taller than most toms. In fact, he'd slide right into WindClan had it not been for the one failure: he is really clumsy and has a tendency to fall over his own paws when running. This slows him down drastically (as seen in his battle statistics). Otherwise he carries a torn ear from his apprentice days (explained in the history section), as well as a crooked tooth poking out from the left side of his mouth. Other than that he is a fairly normal tom.

At one terribly cold winter day, Crookedfang's mother was outdoors in the search for food. She was fairly old, and did not believe she could get any more kits, when disaster struck. She'd gone pregnant for a while without noticing, and gave birth in the snowstorms to a tiny, feeble figure. The only kit in the litter; Crookedfang. The journey back to the camp was long and tough, and she believed the kit to be dead several times. He survived, however, and showed no signs of weakness from that day forth. However, since his mother was so old at the time of pregnancy, he recieved a deformity: a crooked tooth that poked out of the side of his mouth. He'd never be able to close his mouth without this tooth being visible.

Crookedkit was a happy and lively kit, growing up in the ThunderClan nursery with his mother. His mother was old though, and died before he'd completed his last moon in the nursery. Around this time, cats began questioning his heritage as well, considering he was starting to get abnormally long legs for a kit. Many began pondering that his mother had been disloyal, mating with a WindClan cat to produce a half-clanner. This remains unknown to this very day.

Apprenticeship
As he became an apprentice, without any mother to watch over him, nor any siblings or relatives whatsoever. He was assigned a mentor whom was known for a heavy temper, although it was thought that this mentor would be careful and forgiving in the presence of a cat as young as Crookedpaw. They were wrong, however. His mentor was foul and hot-headed, and ended up accidentally tearing the young cat's ear in a moment of anger and frustration as the young apprentice failed to do the tasks he had been told to do.

During his apprentice moons, these bad traits of his mentor's rubbed off on him, and Crookedpaw became just as short-tempered and foul as the elderly warrior. Eventually he became very bothered about his mentor in general, and was almost glad when the tom died. Fortunatly for Crookedfang, the elderly warrior died right before his warrior ceremony and thus he did not have to have another cat assigned to him as mentor.

Around these times, Crookedfang began seriously looking into his heritage, only to find it impossible to find any traces after his father. His mother had had many relationships with several toms, as he soon learned. Hurt by the fact that his mother had not chosen to have him with the single tom she loved over everything on earth, he swore to never mention her name ever again. And so he goes on till this very day, refusing to speak his mother's name, the she-cat whom he'd thought was sweet and innocent, purely a victim of blissfull love. He had theories on whom his father was as well, but never pursued the issue, as he no longer wished to know where he came from.

Despite all of this, he missed his mother more than anything. Without the belief in StarClan, he finds it difficult to see himself reuniting with her again, to finally smell her familiar scent and talk out their issues.

Warrior
In his warrior days, Crookedfang became genuinly more quiet, keeping more to himself to avoid his angry outbursts. His biggest fear would be to become so angry he'd fly at a youngster, like his mentor had done. Still, he enjoys life within ThunderClan, even though the scale plague is setting his fur on end, and he believes this is the end of the clans.

Soon after the plague ended ("Pha, mere luck!") and Crookedfang found himself out of things to complain about. As he has aged quite a bit since then, he's become a lot more mature, although still struggles a little when he's forced into situations that requires his social abilities put into motion. This is one of the more important things that has stuck to him despite his maturing, the entire clumsiness when he's posed in front of other cats for a little too long is still apparent but he's improved. At least he's more able to keep his anger to himself, with the exception of sarcastic comments every now and then.

Why, this was very exciting! He could tell, by the way they were hushed up by their mothers that this was the moment they'd waited for! Such excitement had he rarely felt, than when he walked with the rest of the kits up to be presented. "Oh wow! This is epic!" he meowed loudly, causing a ripple of laughter among the cats on the front row. After a quick glance at Flarestalker's cold stare, Nettlekit lowered his head and clamped his mouth shut, getting that he ought to stay quiet for the rest of the ceremony.

As each one of the kits were called up to gain their 'paw, Nettlekit became more and more eager. As the mentors were named for the first kits, Nettlekit's jaw fell open. Both the leader and the deputy were taking on kits this time around? Even though he was amazed and thrilled for Cinderkit - paw now, and Ink-paw whom had gotten such fantastic mentors, he couldn't help but feel the green monster of envy rumble within his chest. He'd hoped Pallidstar would have taken such a liking to him that he'd pick him for his apprentice.

Even so, he was not disappointed when his own turn to be called came. He puffed out his chest happily and smiled broadly. Phantomscream was going to be his mentor. Ghostpaw's mother! Imagine all the time they could spend together! He'd have to convince Pitchfur into joining them on as many hunting patrols as possible, it'd be so much fun!

At Ghostpaw's too early outburst, he looked at her, grinned sheepishly and shook his head. He simply could not believe this.

Finally, when the ceremony came to an end and they were allowed to step down and share tongues, Nettlepaw rounded at Ghostpaw and inhaled a big bunch of air, biting his lip. "We did it, Ghostpaw! We're apprentices for real now!" he said, releasing all the air in a high-pitched squeal of joy that surely caught the attention of every cat left in the clearing. "C'mon!" he said and touched her shoulder lightly with his tail, before he set off through the entrance to the camp, stopping momentarily to respectfully touch noses with Phantomscream, yelling that he'd be back soon before he vanished out the entrance.
