Send-off portrait for my foster cats!

Hugo and Boris are a pair of brothers who have very different approaches to the art of being a cat, but share a love of play.

The process for this was odd, with a traditional sketch, digital lines, and traditional colours. Since I was giving this card the next day, and I didn't have access to a colour printer, I printed the digital linework to colour by hand.

The result was really fun! It kind of felt like I was colouring in a colouring book even though it's my own art. Definitely something to try again sometime!
