Description Ok another mommy to be photograph from my series...
Sadly as I came to the end of my series I got artist's block (so I purposely am mixing up my photos so you don't think I suddenly got bad. I just was under a lot of pressure near the end).

Anyway, here is another photo of a lovely lady named Janine and her stunning story:

I think it is worth mentioning that I have been looking forward to being a mommy from as far back as I can remember. So needless to say, when I saw the two-lines on the home pregnancy test the first time around I could have jumped out of my skin from elation. My experience of seeing the two-lines the second time round with this pregnancy was in some ways duplicated as I now had a husband and a to-be-brother to share the exciting news with...

My firstborn has enriched my life in ways that I can only sum up as, “Amazing!”. Apart from teaching me the art of being utterly selfless, he has also opened my eyes afresh to the littlest of things in life. He has caused for me to stop and appreciate the smallest thing such as an ant scurrying past or the endless possibilities of fun one can have in a puddle of water in the middle of the road. More than anything though, Josiah has taught me the true meaning of “unconditional love”, not just the dictionary meaning, but the actual emotion and all that comes with that emotion. My life is so much richer for having him in my life!

When we found out that Josiah was going to have a sibling, we were ecstatic. We would now be doubly blessed and twice as rich! It has been the most amazing thing seeing the bond of brothers from this stage as Josiah will often rub and kiss my belly with great affection, as if he knew that there was a little person inside. Though this pregnancy seems a bit more challenging on my body running around and meeting the needs of a very inquisitive and active 2-year old, I’m cherishing every moment, knowing that I’m making priceless memories with every breath that we take.

In essence, what has blown my mind, both with this and my previous pregnancy was the fact that I am co-working with Our Father in heaven to make a little person with a destiny that I cannot even comprehend. The Word of God states that we are “knitted together in our mother’s wombs” and that each of us is “fearfully and wonderfully made...for such a time as this” (Ps 139 paraphrased). To co-work with the Creator of the Universe, is both a privilege and an honour and I appreciate knowing that He has entrusted the lives of His two little boys into my hands to Mother and raise in a way that will only bring Him honour and sing His praises.

I especially enjoy your narratives.

For me, it's been a lifetime ago...both my sons are now adults...but I remember the times.
