Don't worry, you'll get better! My shading was horrible, and we all have to start somewhere :3 I suggest practicing drawing cats on paper, computer is a little hard especially if you're using a mouse. It'll help you get a hang of the cat's body shape and stuff. You're hand is probably steadier than a mouse. c:

Okay, if you think that's what suits you ;u; But, I started out on paper and I only draw on the computer because I have a graphic tablet. BUT I know some absolutely amazing artists who draw with a mouse too.
