I saw you won Heavy Metal Magazine's Hall of November Fame with this painting. Congratulations! I also won with 'Reptilian', 'Jenna; and 'Deliverance'. Check them out!

Hmm very interesting. It's refreshing to see but it gets lost in the darkness. When you look at it up close you can get more detail but the lights points that you do have aren't enough for make this piece eye popping or stand out other then the fact that it is of an african guy and not a white person or a naked anime character. Anyway I think you are skilled I just think light is an area to adjust to when it comes to darker pigmented characters/people if that wasn't what you were going for. There is a book called Light for Visual artists that helps my friend who is learning that sort of thing. But disregard this comment if the darkness was the point of this piece Β

Well I can't say if that is a good approach or not but I was just trying to help. I myself do not draw and I am really not the creative but I have seen some of the struggles of what some artists go through and lighting seems to be a big one. I hope that I didn't offend you I was just trying to be helpful because like I said you are skilled just a bit unrefined. I am sure that you will get there you are off to a great start. Anyway I just hope that helps I hope to see more of your work. It's good. Thank you for creating and sharing.Β
