Long Version:

Dew hung everwhere and the smell of damp earth filled the air. The small moss pixie stretched her skinny limbs as she crawled off of the old tree stump. She paused and cocked her head to the side, sniffing the moist air and listening carefully to the march breeze. Her mouth cracked into a smile of many pointed teeth and she jumped down off the last root, sprinting into the wet grass. She reached a small mushroom field and managed to find the marked fungi. Clamboring up to the top, she saw she was just in time to see Sparrow and Swallowtail alight ontop of the mushroom cap. She giggled and danced around the small fire that had just started to burn. After a few moments, mist poured out of the licking flames, spiraling slowly up toward the sky. The pixie stared intently at the smoke-like mist, her eyes darting between flickers of blue that appeared every now and then. Finally, Spring emerged, pushing the mist out on either side, her pale, moonlit skin began to glow and her blue tresses, danced on the heat of the fire beneath her. The moss pixie laughed gleefully and began to dance again, knowing that the coming season would be a good one.

(a bit lame, I came up with it on the spot, so I don't really care if it sucks.)

Short Version:

A somewhat sequel to Encroaching on Spring . A Sparrow, Pixie and Swallowtail Butterfly all gather to welcome Spring back after her long sleep.

Probably going to be a concentration piece because when I made the picture, I forgot to change the DPI to 300... Tell me what you think. I love comments and feedback so I can get better

And for those who would ask, yes, Spring's feet are dissapearing into nothingness. I didn't feel like painting her feet, so sue me. And yes, you cannot see her other arm, it's behind her (-_-)
