Description
This is Baba Yaga, the slavic witch, that appears in old fairytales. Sometimes she helps out, sometimes she eats children or tries to threaten them. She is wise and old and lives in a chicken-legged hut. Although she is a witch, she doesn't need a broom to fly, cause she flies in a mortar, steering with her pestel.
Baba Yaga isn't just a witch, she is THE witch, an archetype of the crone. As an old slavic deity she is associated with the land, Mother Russia, and is connected to it.

In fact, she is one of my most favourite fairytale characters since i was a child.
